Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned AGA for the respondent nos. 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 08.02.2019 registered as Case Crime No. 0111 of 2019, under Sections 147, 148, 452, 323, 504, 506, 427 IPC and Sections 3(1)(Da) and 3(1)(Dha) of SC/ST Act, Police Station Meja, District Prayagraj.
A perusal of the first information report discloses commission of cognizable offence and the victim has suffered injuries.
Under the circumstances, the prayer of the petitioners to quash the first information report is not acceptable and is, accordingly, rejected.
The petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to apply for bail.
