1.0 The applicant - convict has challenged the order dated 9th October 2011, passed by the Inspector General (Prisons), Gujarat State refusing his application for grant of Parole Leave.
2.0 I have read the application submitted by the applicant - convict as well as order passed by the Inspector General (Prisons). The applicant
- convict was released on Parole Leave on the occasion of Marriage of his niece on 20th May 2010 for 10 days. At present he is requesting for Parole Leave on the ground that the 'Mamera' ceremony (ceremony of giving gifts etc.) of his niece.
3.0 Neither the date nor on what ground, his presence is necessary, is mentioned in the application. Even otherwise, the application is meritless. The application is dismissed.
