The sole relief claimed in the instant petition is for issuance of a direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.619 of 2012 expeditiously.
The petitioner is defendant in the said suit, wherein subject matter of dispute is ancestral property of the parties, which has to be partitioned.
Counsel for the petitioner points out that issues were framed in the year 2016 and some of the issues have already been decided as preliminary issue.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the petition is disposed of by directing the trial court to make all endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
