Heard Sri Awadhesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Vikas Sahai, learned AGA for the States.
Sri Vikas Sahai, learned AGA states that the investigating officer who was a circle officer conducting the investigation of the case is on training and the final report has not been prepared and investigation is not completed. Learned AGA prays for one week time for police investigation to get completed and the report be submitted. He has further submitted that he has received instructions that the new investigating officer would submit its report within a stipulated period.
Considering the facts and circumstances as we have already directed the investigating officer vide order dated 02.05.2018 to conclude the investigation and submit its report but he is on training the new investigating officer complete the report within two weeks from the production of certified copy of this order failing which the petitioner is free to move appropriate application before this Court.
List this matter after two weeks.
