JUDGMENT / ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is with regard to Exts. P1 and P2 notices issued by the second respondent directing the petitioner to satisfy sales tax arrears in respect of the financial year 2006 and 2008 respectively.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to clear entire tax arrears, if some breathing time is provided, by way of reasonable installments.
3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
4. In the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed, with liberty to the petitioner to satisfy the sales tax arrears covered by Exts. P1 and P2 by way of 'four' equal monthly installments; the first of which shall be effected on before the last working day of November, 2014; to be followed by similar installments to be effected on before the last working day of the succeeding months. Subject to this, the coercive proceedings stated as being pursued against the petitioner shall be kept in abeyance for the time being. It is made W.P.(C) No. 29226 of 2014 : 2 :
clear that, if any default is committed with regard to repayment of the due amount as above, it will be open for the respondents to proceed with further steps for realization of the entire amount in lump, from the stage where it stands now.
The petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition before the concerned respondent for further steps.
