JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent. No notice is being issued to the 2nd and 3rd respondents in view of the order passed in this Writ Petition.
2. By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is praying for a mandamus directing the first respondent to render adequate and meaningful police protection to the life and properties of the petitioner and his family from the hands of respondents 2 and 3.
3. Petitioner has made Ext. P2 complaint before the Circle Inspector of Police, Agathi on 11-10-2014. Learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent submits that complaint was enquired and found that no such incident has W.P.(C ) No. 28849 of 2014 - E 2 taken place on which any action can be taken by the police and the report was submitted before the Superintendent of Police.
4. The allegation made by the petitioner in Ext. P2 is that the respondents have planned to attack the petitioner and his family when they reach Agathi. No direction can be issued as prayed for. We, however, observe that it shall be open for the petitioner to file a complaint, if any offence or attempt to commit offence is made by respondents 2 and 3 against the petitioner.
With the above observation, this Writ Petition is closed.
Dated this the 13th day of November, 2014.
