The above Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court, in W.P(MD)No.12137 of 2008, dated 22.12.2008.
2.This Court, by an order, dated 22.12.2008, in W.P(MD)No.12137 of 2008, had directed the District Collector, Tiruchy District, to do the needful on the representation, submitted by the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
3.At this stage of the hearing of the Contempt Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted that the directions issued by this Court, on 22.12.2008, had been complied with, by the order passed by the respondent, on 22.06.2009.
4.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had not refuted the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.
5.Since, no further orders are necessary in this Contempt Petition, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
