JUDGMENT / ORDER

Respondent /Complainant in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12661/2011 and 2506/2012 COMMON PRAYER: Criminal Original Petitions are filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records in C.C.Nos.178 and 179 of 2011 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District and quash the same.
For Petitioners : Mr.Ashok Kumar Senior Counsel for Mr.T.R.Ravi in Crl.O.Ps For Respondents : Mr.T.Selvam in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12661/2011 & 2506/2012 : No appearance in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12654/2011 & 2512/2012 :COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the private complaints in C.C.Nos.178 of 2011 and 179 of 2011, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District .

Though the learned counsel for the petitioners raised several grounds for quashing the C.C.Nos.178 of 2011 and 179 of 2011, he submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the trial Court to complete the trial within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court and also to permit the petitioners to raise all the grounds raised in these petitions before the trial Court.
3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the respondents.
4.In the light of the above said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District, to complete the trial in C.C.Nos.178 of 2011 and 179 of 2011, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the personal appearance of the petitioner/Accused No.1/Kalpathi S.Agoram is dispensed with unless the learned Magistrate feels that his presence is required for disposal of the case.
5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
