JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.J.Manoharan, learned counsel is present on behalf of the writ petitioner. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader is present on behalf of respondents 1 to 14.
2. By consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.
3. The prayer in the writ petition is very limited and it seeks disposal of the representation dated 8.8.2012 sent by the writ petitioner.
4. Matter pertains to a document said to have been registered by impersonation.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would be satisfied if a direction is given to the second respondent herein viz., the Tahsildar, Chengalpattu to dispose of his representation within a time frame.
6. The second respondent herein viz., the Tahsildar, Chengalpattu is directed to dispose of the representation dated 8.8.2012 given by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. As the matter pertains to alleged impersonation, it is made clear that it is open to the writ petitioner to approach the Inspector General of Registration, with a prayer to enquire into the matter as per Circular No.67. If the writ petitioner chooses to do so, this order will not preclude the fifth respondent from dealing with the matter in accordance with the prevailing circular. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
