When these appeals came up for hearing today, Sri.Mathew John, learned counsel appearing for the appellants submitted that the appellants are not desirous of prosecuting the appeals any further for the reason that the entire disputes between the parties have been settled out of court and a compromise petition filed in a connected appeal A.S.No.246 of 1998. In the light of the aforesaid submission, these appeals are dismissed as not pressed.
