The petitioner, who is one of the defendants in Original Suit No. 274 of 2009 has filed the instant petition for a direction to the trial court to decide the suit within a stipulated period.
Counsel for the petitioner points out that issues were framed in the suit long back on 09.05.2011.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
