Petitioner has been transferred from Police Station Ghoorpur in Allahabad to Mahoba, pursuant to order of transfer dated 21st March, 2018. The only ground to resist transfer is that marriage of petitioner's daughter is fixed for 30th April, 2018, and it would cause inconvenience, in case petitioner is transferred at this stage. Petitioner has already given an undertaking that in case he is allowed to continue for a reasonable period in order to ensure that he successfully gets the marriage solemnized, petitioner would himself join immediately thereafter.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that in view of the stand taken by the petitioner to join on 15th May, 2018 to the transferred place, the authorities may have no objection in petitioner's continuation till then.
Considering the stand taken by the parties, this writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that the petitioner shall be allowed to continue at his present place of posting till 15th May, 2018, and that he shall immediately report for joining thereafter, pursuant to order of transfer dated 21.3.2018.
