The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission for celebrating the petitioner's daughter Amira's Nikah and Valima with Irfan at Old Mosque Street, Muslimpur, Vaniyambadi - 635 751.
2. Heard Mr.K.Mohanamurali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.Roshni Parakl, who takes notice for the 1st respondent.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not permitting the petitioner to perform his daughter's marriage at Old Mosque Street, Muslimpuram, merely because some litigations are pending between the petitioner and the respondents by way of writ petition and civil suit.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents, based on instructions, submitted that the apprehension of the petitioner is not correct and in fact the respondents are ready to permit the petitioner to perform the marriage as planned.
5. The above statement is recorded.
6. Learned counsel for the petitioner also informed this Court that the petitioner is called upon to pay a sum of Rs.1000/- for performing the marriage, which amount has also been paid by the petitioner.
7. Therefore, this Court is of the view that there is no difficulty for the petitioner to perform the marriage of his daughter, as planned. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to perform the marriage of his daughter on 25.11.2017 also by allowing all the religious rituals to be carried on in accordance with the customs. No costs.
