Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
“a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the first information report dated 26-05-2017 registered as a case crime no.0830 of 2017 under section 363, 366 I.P.C. and 3/4 The protection of Children from Sexual offences act, 2012 P.S.- Kotwali Kannauj, District - Kannauj.”
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, bearing no.136 of 2017 dated 1.7.2017, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
