1. Counsel for the appellant seeks to withdraw the appeal. An endorsement to that effect has also been made on the paper book.

2. Mr.Muthuramalingam, who appears for the respondent says, he has no objection.

3. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected pending application shall stand closed. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
