JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.01.2017 for revoking the order of suspension.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:-
?The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.01.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.?
5. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
