JUDGMENT / ORDER

The challenge in this Writ Petition is the order of penalty imposed by the first respondent in proceedings dated 10th June, 2003, on the ground that the writ petitioner has used excess power than that of the allotment made to him.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition and in lieu of the interim order granted by this Court, the petitioner has remitted the entire penalty amount, the service connection was restored and the writ petitioner is now using the electricity connection.
3.The learned counsel for the respondents has no serious objection on the submissions made by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner.
4.Such being the factum of the case, no further adjudication in this writ petition is required and the writ petitioner hereinafter has to follow the Rules and Regulations of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for the continuance of the electricity connection.
With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
