The petitioner has submitted an application, Ext.P5 for the construction of a residential building in his property. Ext.P6 is the acknowledgment issued by the office of the second respondent for having received the same on 5.9.2014. The petitioner complains that no orders have been passed thereon till date. He therefore seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of his application. 2. Since the relief sought for is limited in nature, it is sufficient that this writ petition is disposed of directing Ext.P5 to be considered.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider Ext.P5 application for building permit submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, after conducting an inspection of the petitioner's property to ascertain the physical condition thereof and to pass appropriate orders on W.P.(C).No.28272 of 2014 2 his application for building permit, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
