Petitioners are the accused in C.C.No.1782/2012 of JFCM, Vatakara. The offences alleged against them are punishable under Secs.498A and 406 r/w 34 of IPC. First petitioner is the husband of the de facto complainant, who is the first respondent herein. She is represented in this Court by her counsel. Affidavit has been filed by the first respondent/de facto complainant stating that the entire matter has been settled and that they are living together happily.
In the light of the settlement so arrived at this Crl.M.C. is allowed. Further proceedings against these petitioners in C.C.No.1782/2012 of JFCM, Vatakara is quashed.
