The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging Ext.P12 proceedings of the respondent by which, an application for building permit submitted by her has been rejected. The reason stated in Ext.P12 is that the petitioner's property has been included in the data bank described as paddy land. 2. According to Sri.Sajan Varghese K., who appears for the petitioner, the said entry is wrong and therefore, rejection of the petitioner's building permit is without any justification.

4. Heard. Since according to Ext.P12, the petitioner's land has been included in the data bank described as paddy land, the stand of the respondent that, no building permit could be issued in respect thereof, cannot be found fault with. The petitioner's contention is that her property is not actually paddy land. If so the remedy of the petitioner is to seek a correction of the 2 W.P.(C).No.32951 of 2014 description in the data bank invoking the provisions of Act 28 of 2008.
Without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to invoke the provisions of Act 28 of 2008, if the petitioner disputes the description of her property in the data bank, this writ petition is dismissed.
