Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following among other relief:-
"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 1 Tehsildar to decide the Case No. T.201917650100198 (Kalumullah & Another vs. Rahmullah)within the stipulated period, which is pending in the court of Tehsiler, Tehsil Dhanghata, Sant Kabir Nagar, since 2014 within specific stipulated period granted by this Hon'ble Court. "
The petitioner is aggrieved on account of pendency of a mutation application filed in July, 2012 which has not been decided till date.
In view of the above, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 1, Tehsildar, Dhanghata, Sant Kabir Nagar to consider and decide the mutation application expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
