Petitioner applied for the post of Drug Inspector pursuant to Advertisement No. 21/2016-2017, dated 10.08.2016, under the Other Backward Class (OBC) category. The selections were to be made on the marks obtained in the interview.
It is urged that the petitioner was assessed at 65.28 marks on academic qualification, whereas, the last candidate under the OBC category called for interview is assessed at 70 marks, accordingly, petitioner upon shortlisting did not qualify for interview.
In view the statement of the learned counsel for the Commission based on the written instructions dated 24.08.2021, the petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
