Grievance is that though petitioner has scored marks above the cut off, but his candidature is not being considered for appointment to the post of Constable pursuant to recruitment exercised initiated in the year 2018.
While entertaining the writ petition following orders were passed on 21.5.2019:-
"As prayed, put up this case on 29 July 2019, as fresh to enable the learned standing counsel to seek instructions in the matter. "
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions, according to which, petitioner's claim is already being examined by the Police Recruitment Board and an appropriate decision would be taken within a period of two months.
In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 3 to accord consideration to the petitioner's claim in respect of appointment to the post in question, noticed above, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned order to be passed, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
