Without entering into the controversy involved in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to District Magistrate, Rampur (respondent-2) to decide Application dated 9.7.2017 (File No. 989AC/17) for grant of Fire Arm Licence, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the concerned authority, according to provisions as provided under Rule 13 of Arms Rules, 2016.
