Learned counsel for the respondent University, on instructions from Controller of Examination, states that the University will declare the result of the candidates who had already appeared in back paper examination, before 18.11.2018. He further reiterates the undertaking given by him on behalf of the University that their result will display that they had appeared in special examination and not back paper examination. He also states that in respect of remaining candidates, a special examination would be held by the University shortly and the University will also endeavour to declare their result before 18.l1.2018.
His statement is recorded and accepted.
Learned counsel for the parties agree that in view of the said statement, nothing further survives in the instant matter.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent University.
The order has been passed in the presence of Sri Saroj Yadav, learned counsel for Allahabad State University.
