It is stated that petitioner's father was employed in the respondent no.3 institution and had died in harness on 3.10.2017. Petitioner alleges that being his son he is entitled to grant of compassionate appointment. An application in that regard has also been moved before the authority concerned, which is pending. It is also stated that other members of family either have no objection or are not qualified.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim for grant of compassionate appointment, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned order to be passed, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. The authority concerned shall issue notice to respondent no.4 in the matter and claim of compassionate appointment if put forth by any other family member(s) shall also be considered while considering claim of petitioner.
