This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioners under male General/Art category in Special B.T.C. Training(2008).
The grievance of the petitioners is that their cases are wrongly and illegally not being considered on the ground that they have obtained B.P.Ed. degree from the University situated outside the State of U.P.
Reliance has been placed on Special Appeal No.186 of 2008 (Dheerendra Kumar and others vs. State of U.P. and others), decided on 12.3.2008.
In view of the aforesaid this petition is disposed of finally directing respondent no.3 to consider the case of the petitioners on merit and, if selected, be sent for training. Orders after consideration may be passed by respondent no.3 within a period of two weeks from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observations the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
