Heard Shri Sunil Kumar Ram, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned standing counsel for the respondent no. 1 and Shri Abhishek Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondents no. 2 and 3.
The petitioners, in the writ petition are seeking quashing of the order dated 13.5.2018 whereby their result has been cancelled on the ground that they do not possess the CCC certificate. The petitioners applied for selection against the advertisement no. 4/2014 for the post of Technical Grade II (Trainee) Electrical. A perusal of the advertisement shows that the last date for submission of online application form was 10.9.2014 to 30.9.2014. The eligibility qualification as prescribed in paragraph 2 of the advertisement is Course of Computer Concept certificate or its equivalent. The CCC certificate filed by the petitioners, Annexure-3 to the writ petition shows that this certificate is of January, 2015. No certificate has been filed in the writ petition to show that the petitioners possess any certificate of computer course equivalent to CCC as issued by the National Institute of Electrical and Information Technology. There is not a single averment in any of the paragraphs of the writ petition that the petitioners were in possession of any certificate which may be equivalent to the certificate of CCC issued by the National Institute of Electrical and Information Technology.
Therefore, on the facts of the case the petitioners' CCC certificate being of January 2015 and onwards which is beyond the cut of date required for submitting the same with the online application, I do not find any illegality or infirmity in the impugned order.
The writ petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
