Heard learned counsel for parties.
The petitioner, a Jail Warder, challenges an order of transfer dated 12 June 2021. The ground which is urged in challenge to the aforesaid order is that by a communication of 12 June 2021, the petitioner was called upon to show cause as to why disciplinary action be not initiated. It is submitted that immediately and on the same day, the impugned order of transfer came to be passed. The Court however notes that the original order of transfer was made on 29 June 2019 and the order of 12 June 2021 which is impugned merely seeks to implement the aforesaid order. It is not the case of the petitioner that he holds a non-transferable post. The order of transfer is also not shown to fall foul of any statutory provision or terms and conditions of service of the petitioner. No final orders adverse to the petitioner have been passed consequent to the show cause notice which was issued. In view of the aforesaid, the challenge fails.
The writ petition shall stand dismissed.
