Petitioner is the owner of a Mahindra Load King Tipper vehicle bearing Registration No.KL-14-F-5533. The said vehicle has been seized by the respondent alleging violation of Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001. 2. The only request made by the petitioner is that, respondent may be directed to report seizure of the vehicle before the competent Magistrate. Therefore, the respondent is directed to report the seizure of vehicle to the competent Magistrate through the Station House Officer of competent jurisdictional police, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the petitioner moves an application for interim custody under Section 23A of the above Act, the competent jurisdictional Magistrate W.P.(C) No.25739 of 2014

shall consider such application within 10 days of receipt of such application.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
