The petitioner's land situates near the Calicut University Campus. He is aggrieved by the proposal to acquire his land for the purpose of setting up Lal Bahadur Shasthri Integrated Institute of Science and Technology. It appears from the pleadings that the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the captioned writ petition on the apprehension that his land would be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. I do not think it necessary to consider the contentions in detail in view of the fact that the writ petitions moved by similarly situated persons viz., W.P.(C) Nos.30983 of 2013 and 1923 of 2014 were disposed of by this Court. The said writ petitions were filed by persons who own and possess properties near the Calicut University Campus on being apprehended of acquisition of their properties for the aforesaid purpose. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the captioned writ petition can also be disposed of on the same lines. Having perused the judgments in W.P.
(C) Nos.30983 of 2013 and 1923 of 2014 I am of the view that this writ petition can also be disposed of on the same lines. In the said circumstances, taking into account the judgments in the aforesaid writ petitions, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to forward Ext.P3 representation to the second respondent for consideration along with the representations which were directed to be considered by this Court as per judgments in W.P.(C) Nos.30983 of 2013 and 1923 of 2014 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. On its receipt, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders along with the representations which were directed to be considered as per judgments in W.P.(C) Nos.30983 of 2013 and 1923 of 2014 in case the said representations were not already disposed of.
