THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R The petitioner herein is seeking a writ of mandamus to 4th respondent to consider his application for grant of four and half guntas of government land in Sy.No.404 of Bagalur Village, Jala Hobli in Bangalore North Taluk, which according to him, is in his possession and enjoyment.
2. At this stage, learned Additional Government Advocate files a memo along with an endorsement bearing No.LND(JALA)/CR/351/18-19 dated 08.02.2019 wherein it is stated that the application of the petitioner herein has been considered and the same is rejected pursuant to Government Circular bearing No.RD/168/LPG/14 dated 09.06.2014 on the ground that the aforesaid land comes within the radius of 18 kms. of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike limit. Therefore, the said land is not available for grant. Accordingly, the said application is rejected.
In that view of the matter, the present Writ Petition having become infructuous, the same is dismissed.
