Sri Rajesh Dwivedi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ashish Pandey, learned A.G.A. for the State are present.
This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to quash the impugned F.I.R. dated 21.7.2017 registered as Case Crime No. 0115 of 2017, under Sections 3/4 of U.P. Public Gambling Act, 1867 at P.S. Bekanganj, District Kanpur Nagar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the place, where gambling activities have been done, has been sold by the petitioner six months back.
Hence, the impugned FIR is quashed.
Considering the facts and circumstances and arguments advanced by the parties, we do not find any ground to interfere in this matter, hence, this writ petition is, accordingly, rejected.
