(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE RAVI R.TRIPATHI) Heard the learned advocate Mr. Pratik M. Barot for the appellant. The present appeal is filed by the appellant challenging the judgment and order dated 17.2.2012 passed in Sessions Case No. 139/2011 by the learned Additional Principal Judge, Court no. 2, Ahmedabad (City Civil Court). It being the first appeal against the conviction, wherein, the appellant is convicted for the offence under section 376 read with section 511 of IPC and awarded 10 years R.I. and fine of Rs. 11,000/-, and in default, to further undergo S.I. for six months, and for the offence under section 354 of IPC, he is awarded sentence for 2 years R.I., and fine of Rs. 2000/-, in default, to undergo further S.I. for three months.
