The petitioner's vehicle, a lorry, bearing registration No.KL-50-2700 has been seized by the respondent alleging transportation of ordinary earth without permit. The petitioner submits that he has necessary permit. The petitioner relies on Ext.P2. However, it seems that the petitioner has not produced the same when the vehicle was seized. Considering the facts and circumstances, I am of the view, the vehicle shall be released to the petitioner on executing a simple bond. However, this will not stand in the way of the respondent in proceeding against the petitioner, if so warranted, in accordance with law.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
