Petitioners are accused nos.1 and 3 in C.C. No.568/2011 of Special Judicial First Class Magistrate (Marad Cases) Kozhikode. Accused nos. 2 and 4 therein were acquitted by the trial court. These petitioners were convicted by the trial court for offences under sections 498A and 406 of IPC and hence they filed Criminal Appeal No.249/2013, which is now pending before the IV Additional Sessions Judge, Kozhikode. Now the parties have settled the matter. Hence, this petition is filed.
2. The 1st respondent is the defacto complainant.
She is represented in this court by her counsel. She has filed affidavit stating that the entire matter has been settled out of court and that she does not want to proceed with the matter.

3. In the light of the settlement so arrived at, this petition is allowed. Conviction and sentence passed against the appellants by the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate (Marad Cases), Kozhikode in C.C. No.568/2011 shall stand set aside. All further proceedings against these petitioners shall stand quashed.
