Despite an order passed by the authorities in his favour, petitioner has not been released entire retiral benefits to which he was entitled. It is stated that part of retiral dues have been released, but balance amount as is specified in para 26 of the petition remains withheld. In respect of such grievance, petitioner has approached the authorities concerned, but no decision has yet been taken. Hence, this petition.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.3 in respect of his grievance, noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from today. Petitioner shall be at liberty to explain the amount, which has been paid to him and also the amount which remains due and the basis of his entitlement. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned, by means of a reasoned order to be passed, in accordance with law, within a further period of three months thereafter. The amount which is found due and payable in terms of the order, if any, shall be released within a further period of six weeks thereafter.
