JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of Ext.P2 representation. The facts involved in this case would disclose that the Petitioner's Vehicle bearing Reg.No.KL-11-W-6509 has been seized by the first respondent on 29.4.2014 on the allegation that there is diversion of route while transporting river sand with valid permit. 2. According to the petitioner the said allegation is not an offence under the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Sand Mining Act. Therefore, there was no justification for the first respondent to have seized the vehicle. The petitioner submitted Ext.P2 representation before the second respondent which has not seen disposed so far.
Having regard to the aforesaid contentions and after hearing the learned Government Pleader, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed as under:
The second respondent is directed to consider Ext.P2 representation and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
