THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.15904 of 2014 ORDER :
The case of the petitioner is that on 19.01.2013, he filed an application for issuance of licence to vend stamps and submitted the same to the Sub-Registrar, Charminar, Hyderabad. To the understanding of the petitioner, the same was forwarded to the District Registrar. So far no orders are passed on his application and no licence was granted to him. The petitioner is an unemployee and seeks to pursue the avocation as stamp vendor, if the licence is granted to him. This writ petition is instituted aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in passing orders on the application submitted by the petitioner for grant of licence.
2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued to the respondents to consider his application dated 19.01.2013 and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, within a prescribed time.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.01.2013 for grant of licence, take appropriate decision as warranted by law and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
