----------------------- Petitioners approached the Local Level Monitoring Committee for the purpose of obtaining permission for reclaiming 10 cents of land in Survey No.98/3 of Valambur Village for the construction of the residential building. Admittedly this property is included in the draft data bank as paddy land. It is on account of delay in considering this application, the petitioners have approached this Court.
2. The learned Government Pleader on instruction would submit that the petitioners' application has been forwarded by the Local Level Monitoring Committee to the District Level Monitoring Committee, and a decision will be taken in this matter. It is further submitted that there is a complaint pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer regarding illegal reclamation of land for the purpose of constructing a way to the above property.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to take a decision in the matter within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
