JUDGMENT / ORDER

According to the petitioner, he is a tenant in a room bearing registration No. XX/474 (Old No.XV/479E) of Edathala Grama Panchayath, owned by one Rajasekharan and his son. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P6 application before the respondent, who is also the Accommodation Controller, under Section 13 of the Kerala Building and Lease Control Act, alleging that power supply to the tenanted premises has been disconnected by the landlord. The grievance of the petitioner is that Ext.P6 application submitted by him is still pending consideration before the respondent. Therefore, he is seeking an early disposal of the said application. 2. I heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P6 application submitted by the W.P.(C) No.12262/2014 2 petitioner, as expeditiously possible, at any rate, within a period of 'one' month from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this judgment. Needless to say that the disposal of Ext.P6 application as directed above should be with due notice to the landlord of the tenanted premises.
