Being aggrieved of Exts.P1 and P2 proceedings passed by the 1st respondent in respect of the assessment years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 respectively, the petitioner has already preferred Exts.P3 & P4 appeals along with Exts.P5 & P6 petitions for stay, which are pending consideration before the 2nd respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that without any regard to the pendency of the above proceedings, the respondents are proceeding with coercive steps, as borne by Exts.P7 & P8 notices, which hence is sought to be intercepted by this Court.
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on Exts.P5 & P6 petitions for stay, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within 'one month' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Coercive proceedings pursuant to W.P.C.No.28617 of 2014 2 Exts.P7 & P8 shall be kept in abeyance till such time.
Petitioner shall produce a copy of this judgment, along with copy of the writ petition, before the 2nd respondent, for further steps.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
