Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Chief Standing Counsel for State.
The writ petition has been filed to seek direction on the District Magistrate, Jaunpur to decide the pending appeal no.106 of 2021, under Sections 67(5) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 (Smt. Gama Devi versus Gaon Sabha and others) expeditiously.
It has been admitted by learned Counsel for respondents that the aforesaid appeal is pending for consideration before the District Magistrate, Jaunpur.
In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the competent authority to decide the aforesaid appeal within four months from the production of a certified copy of this order before him.
