JUDGMENT / ORDER

According to the petitioner 2.30 ares of property belonging to him was acquired by the respondents for the development of Malumel Kadavu Bridge. It is also stated that not satisfied with the compensation awarded he sought reference under Section 18 of the Act by making Ext.P5 application to the first respondent. Complaint in this writ petition is mainly regarding the inaction on his application.
2. Taking note of this grievance of the petitioner, I dispose of this writ petition directing the first respondent to pass orders on Ext.P5, if such application has been received and is pending. This the first respondent shall do as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within 8 weeks from the date of production of a copy fo the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition.
