JUDGMENT / ORDER

RAMACHANDRA MENON, J. The petitioner, who is engaged in the business of real estate and second hand vehicles, is apprehending threat to his life and properties at the hands of the respondents 5 and 6. The case of the petitioner is that when the petitioner was taking tea from the nearby bakery, on 1.5.2014, the fifth respondent came there and assaulted petitioner stating that the money due to the fifth respondent from the son of the petitioner is to be paid by the petitioner forthwith. The petitioner, apprehending danger, has approached the Police but the Police has not heeded to the request made by the petitioner and hence the writ petition for police protection.
2. Learned Government Pleader submits, on instruction, that the version of the petitioner is not at all true or correct. Crime No.400/13 has already been registered at the instance of the defacto complainant implicating petitioner as an accused and that the W.P(. C)No.13402 OF 2014 : 2 :
petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail by the Sessions Court, Kasaragod. Subsequently, petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 representation before the fourth respondent requesting police protection to the life of the petitioner and his family members. The said petition was enquired into by the police. According to the police, there is no basis in Ext.P2 representation and there is no threat to the life of the petitioner or any threat to law and order situation as well.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties, this Court finds that this is not a fit case to interfere with the matter. The writ petition is dismissed recording the submission made by the learned Government Pleader.
