JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, to complete the trial in C.C.No.202 of 2013 and to dispose of the same within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. The complaint itself was lodged in the year 2009 and based on the complaint, a case was registered in Crime No.36 of 2009 for the alleged offences under Sections 419,420,465,468 and 471 of I.P.C. After registration of the complaint, Charge Sheet was filed in the year 2013 and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.202 of 2013 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, for the alleged offences under Sections 120,419,420,465,468 and 471 r/w 34 of I.P.C.,
4. In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that the time taken for completing the trial is not reasonable and a direction to the lower Court to expedite the trial will be in the interest of justice. Hence, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, is directed to expedite the trial in C.C.No.202 of 2013 and to dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original petition is allowed accordingly.
