(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE RAVI R.TRIPATHI) Heard learned Advocate Mr.Ramnandan Singh for the applicant-convict, who is undergoing 5 years' RI for offence under Section 489-B of the Indian Penal Code in Sessions Case No.58 of 2008, wherein he was convicted by judgment and order dated 28.11.2011.
Despite his strenuous efforts, learned Advocate for the applicant could not convince this Court that this is a fit case for suspension of sentence pending the appeal, in light of the fact that learned APP pointed out that when this convict was under-trial, he was released on temporary bail with police escort and he absconded from there. The application is rejected.
