1. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the couple who have married out of their own sweet will and against their parents' wishes.
2. It has been submitted that the petitioner no.1 married with the petitioner no.2 by way of a Nikah Nama on 06.12.2019 and they have also applied for registration of the marriage before the sub-Registrar, Muzaffar Nagar on 14.12.2019.
3. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S. Charthawal, District Muzaffar Nagar who shall extend all help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
