JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider her representation dated 17.03.2017 and pass orders on the same, wherein she sought for surveying the land referred to in the said representation.
3. Though such representation was made to the District Collector, Nagapattinam, it is seen from the proceedings of the Assistant Director cum Personal Assistant to the District Collector dated 02.05.2017, that the petitioner's request was forwarded to the Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Keezhvelur for taking appropriate action. Therefore, it is for the said Official viz., Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Keezhvelur to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the Tahsildar, Taluk office, Keezhvelur, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
