JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Petitioners have approached this Court complaining about the inaction on the part of the respondent herein. In fact, the direction was only to consider the grievance of the petitioners by the Chairman of the Pollution Control Board. The Chairman considered the matter in favour of the complainant and forwarded the same to the Government. Government filed an affidavit stating that in the light of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Deepak Kumar v. State of Haryana (2012 (13) S.C.C.
549) they have already constituted a committee headed by the Chief Secretary to consider the aforesaid proposal.
2. Having regard to the aforesaid facts, I do not think that there is Cont.Case (C) No. 860 of 2013 -:2:-
any necessity to proceed further with the contempt as there is no wilful contempt committed by the respondent. It shall always be open for the petitioners to take appropriate proceedings with reference to the stand taken by the Government in this regard.
In the said circumstances, the contempt case is closed.
A.M.Shaffique, Judge.
